Victorian 9ct Gold Back and Front Diamond Locket

This is a lovely, antique 9ct Gold Back & Front Diamond Starburst Round Locket
This piece features a classic back and front gold construction which was a common feature in Victorian era jewellery.
At the center of the locket there is a sparkling rose cut diamond accent.
The locket opens to reveal to photo compartments that currently have photos in. These can be removed if desired before shipping, but I try to keep each pieces as original to the point that I sourced it.
Measures in length 2.35cm not including jump ring.
Weight: 6.16 grams in total.
Marked for 9ct Gold back and front.

In very good antique condition. There are a couple of small dents to the back of the locket and minor surface marks commensurate with age.
9ct Gold back and front, common in Victorian jewellery, refers to a piece of jewellery (often lockets) made with a layer of 9ct gold on both the front and back, with a non gold metal in between. Usually the rim of the photo compartments, hinge etc.
