This gorgeous pendant has been converted from a Victorian-era stick pin, set with its original antique ruby in a starburst setting and crafted in luxurious 9ct gold with a 9ct pendant bail.

Measures 1.5cm in length including bail/jump ring.

The stick pin which is also often referred to as a tie or cravat pin, originated in the early 19th century as an essential accessory for wealthy gentlemen. It was used to fasten a scarf or cravat.
