Vintage 9ct Gold Back & Front Heart Locket

This is a lovely, 9ct Gold Back & Front Heart Locket
This piece features a classic back and front gold construction. 
The locket has beautiful floral engraving to the front, echoing the romance of the era and opens to reveal two photo compartments. There are photos present in the locket which I will remove if requested, if not they will be left in as I try to keep every piece as original as possible from when I source it.
Measures 2.6cm length down the center, including jump ring.
Weight: 3.51 grams in total.
Marked for 9ct Gold back and front.

In very good condition. Small dent on back. Wear is commensurate with age.
9ct Gold back and front, common in Victorian jewellery, refers to a piece of jewellery (often lockets) made with a layer of 9ct gold on both the front and back, with a non gold metal in between. Usually the rim of the photo compartments, hinge etc.
